The Florida Oceanographic Seagrass Training Education Restoration (FOSTER) Program is looking for volunteers!! Help us document short and long-term trends in seagrass health and determine how those trends are attributable to changes in environmental conditions.
It all begins with our monthly seagrass survey. Join us on the water from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Meet in the Coastal Center parking lot. Wear closed toe shoes and bring a mask and snorkel (weight belt if you have one). Ideally, volunteers will have experience snorkeling and be willing to learn how to identify and measure seagrass species. Please RSVP below or contact Katie Tiling 772-225-0505 ext. 114 for more information.
