All throughout September, TCFB will observe Hunger Action Month™ – a nationwide initiative designed to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger and join the movement to help end hunger along the Treasure Coast. “Hidden in Plain Sight: Lifting Up Vulnerable Populations in Indian River County” – Attend a free breakfast roundtable discussion with local experts on the causes of poverty and hunger—and its solutions. “Aging Without Dignity: Addressing Senior Poverty in Martin County” – Another opportunity to learn from local experts—with a focus this session on Martin County’s senior population.
